TEETH WHITENING
Your teeth say more about you than any other physical feature. Teeth whitening can help with minimising discolouration from many things including coffee, smoking, foods, trauma etc. We offer in-clinic teeth whitening and take-home kits.
INVISALIGN INVISIBLE BRACES
You can have straight teeth with invisible braces by Invisalign. No wires. No brackets. This is an adult orthodontic treatment, so there is no age limit. The treatment involves an ‘aligner’ which is a custom-made medical grade clear plastic tray, that straightens your teeth as you wear them.

SPORTS MOUTHGUARDS/ NIGHT SPLINTS
Anyone who plays a sport that carries a major risk of a knock to the face should wear a mouthguard. At Martin Dentist Dentures we hand-craft mouthguards, and can even match team and school colours.
COSMETIC DENTISTRY
Cosmetic dentistry refers to dental treatments which are designed to enhance your smile, from fillings and teeth whitening, to porcelain veeners and teeth replacement.
Our team are experienced and passionate about helping restore and maintain the health and vitality of your smile. We undergo regular training to ensure we are up-to-date with the latest technology and treatment techniques.
We will work with you to create a personalised treatment plan, so you can have that enviable smile you’ve always dreamed of.

CHILDREN'S DENTISTRY
Your child should have their first dental oral health assessment at the age of two. We understand that visiting the dentist can be a frightening experience for a child, so we make check ups a fun and exciting experience.
We work together with the help of your child, and parents/guardians to develop and establish a good preventive program that includes correct brushing, flossing, and a balanced diet, to give your child the best oral health start in life. Its important good dental habits are started from a young age.
We offer gap free general dental services for children, and offer bulk billing children with Medicare (CDBS) approval.
GENERAL DENTISTRY
General Dentistry refers to routine dental treatments such as oral exams, cleaning (hygienist), plaque removal, fillings, bleaching, fluoride treatments, x-rays, and more.
At Martin Dentist Dentures, we’re committed to providing exceptional care for you and your family, so you can enjoy ongoing optimum oral health. With regular maintenance, check ups, and dental treatments (when needed), you can feel confident in maintaining your beautiful smile.
Your first appointment with us is always the most important. You can get to know our team and our clinic; we will discuss and address any concerns or desires you may have; and we can begin tailoring a treatment plan to suit your needs.

DENTAL IMPLANTS
Dental implants are used when replacing an entire missing tooth. These titanium screws are inserted into the jawbone, and once healed, have crowns or a bridge attached.
Implants are designed to look natural and function like natural teeth, and to cope with the pressures of eating and chewing. They can be an excellent solution for when dentures cannot be worn.
WISDOM TEETH
Wisdom teeth, the third and last molars on each side of the upper and lower jaws, usually appear from around 15 to 20 years of age, however this can vary.
As wisdom teeth are the last to emerge, there is often not enough room in your mouth left to accommodate them. If they only partially emerge or come in crooked or impacted, swelling and pain can occur in the surrounding tissues. This can result in the need for extraction, especially if infection is occurring.
Some extractions can take place in the clinic, however, in some circumstances we may need to refer you to a specialist.

PREVENTIVE DENTISTRY
Prevention is always better than cure, and this is something we believe in strongly at Martin Dentist Dentures. Preventive care will help keep major dental problems at bay, and the need for it starts from a young age.
Regular checkups, professional cleans, regular brushing and flossing at home, and limiting sugary and acidic foods, will give you and your family the best chance of preventing dental problems down the track. Addressing minor issues before they become big problems will not only save you money, but will also ensure you keep your beautiful smile for longer.
CROWN AND BRIDGE
Crowns (or tooth caps) are a fixed prosthetic device that will entirely cover or “cap” a damaged tooth. They may be used for a number of reasons including replacing a large filling where there is not enough tooth remaining, to protect a weak tooth from fracturing, to cover a dental implant, and to cover a discoloured or poorly shaped tooth.
If you’re missing one or more teeth, dental bridges can be used to fill in the gaps with artificial teeth. A bridge will be cemented to the available natural teeth or implants (which serve as anchors) within the empty space.
The other option available to replace missing teeth is dentures.

GUM DISEASE/BLEEDING GUMS
Gum disease is the most common cause of tooth loss, and it has also been linked to other health problems such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Periodontal or gum diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis, are caused by build up of bacterial plaque, but smoking, stress, diet and other factors can contribute.
If you have swollen, red gums that bleed easily when you brush and floss, you may be on your way to developing gum disease. We can help.
